Hi,
I'm currently looking for a way to amend applications physical paths through power-shell instead of manually going into every application.
I have a number of applications under the default website which have applications under them that need to be changed.
Is there a way of changing them through power-shell , so that I can possibility eventually run the powershell through SQL.
Thanks

Are you talking about changing the physical path of an IIS Virtual Directory?

Sorry but I can't see this. I am behind a firewall with a rather too aggressive policy.

This is the link if it will help..
https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/getfile/3856/
but primarily I'm talking about when you right click on an application in IIS > manage application > physical path
