I’m a little late to the celebration but on Friday some there was some exciting news regarding Power View was announced. One thing to probably make mention of that you can ready on the Microsoft team blog is that this is only for SQL Server and SharePoint Power View. If you’re using Power View with Excel 2013 only then you’ll have to wait a little longer for an update.

Either way this is great news and for those that were anticipating projects to convert Multidimensional cubes to Tabular or PowerPivot so they could use Power View.
