Hi - Anyone else having issues or a good resolution to running cleanup_server_retention_window? It takes around 5+ hours to run each day on my server and that is to remove less than 1000 records per day.
I recently upgraded to 2012SP2, which I had read would fix the issue. I did try changing the stored procedure to delete 1000 records at a time vs. 10 (still very puzzled as to why Microsoft would create a do/while loop to delete 10 records at a time...), but wanted to check to see if anyone else had tried the same.
I'd prefer to not change something Microsoft created with the thought that there must be a reason they are only doing 10 at a time, but it just isn't working and it ties up all SSIS processing in the meantime.
The job is scheduled to run once per day (which is how it was originally scheduled when I enabled the SSIS DB).
Thanks
-Dan

You may want to check the following KB article:
