Hi,
I receive the following error when I start up my 2 new SQL Server 2012 instances:
"Failed to verify Authenticode signature on DLL 'D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.R8QA\MSSQL\Binn\ftimport.dll'."
This dll does not exist on the server and a look around Google has not enlightened me as to why this is occurring. Apart from a regular installation of SQL Server Standard Edition, I have only installed the Microsoft JDBC drivers. Full version is as follows:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 11.0.5058.0 (X64)
May 14 2014 18:34:29
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.3 <X64> (Build 9600: ) (Hypervisor)
Does anyone has an idea of the significance of the message?
Thanks,
Shane

From what I can tell, that's a DLL used for the Full Text Search engine. Did you install that as part of the instance installation?
If not and if the instance is otherwise fine, I wouldn't worry about it. If you did install the full text search, you may have issues with that feature.
