I've checked the optional updates that I could apply to my laptop. It lists one for SQL Server 2012, which is an optional update, KB2958429. I wonder if I should apply it or not. I actually have SQL Server 2014 Developer Edition installed on my laptop. My guess is that the SQL 2012 also on it are a part of either Visual Studio 2012 or 2013, which I also have installed on my laptop.
But the important question is, should I install this optional update for SQL 2012, even though I've got SQL 2014 on my machine?
