When I try to install SQL Server 2005 on a windows 2012r2 virtual server (one core)
then I get the following error
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup
------------------------------
The SQL Server service failed to start. For more information, see the SQL Server Books Online topics, "How to: View SQL Server 2005 Setup Log Files" and "Starting SQL Server Manually."
this habbens when "starting SQL service/ MSSQLSERVER"
If I click cancel then various roll-back actions are performed and install fails
- I already did the install as administrator
- placed the map 'tools' and 'servers' on the C drive and with full rights
can somebody try to tell me what is going wrong, the only thing that is when sql does a hardware check is he gives a message that asp.net is 64 bit instead of a 32 bit
can this be the problem if so how can I install a 32 bit on a windows 2012r2
koen
