How to alias sql server Database,SSIS , SSRS,SSAS servers

    Hi,

    We have an environment where they migrate servers to new versions very often. The sysadmins do not know of a way to alias the databases.

    Could you please point me to some articles or give instructions showing how to alias the databases.

    Please let me know if there is a way to alias servers.

    I saw in the below article that there is a way to alias Database Engine, but not SSAS SSRS SSIS servers. Please suggest
