  I have SQL 2014, 2012 and 2008R2 installed on my desktop running Windows Server 2008R2. Installation of SQL 2016 fails. Is there a problem installing SQL 2016 with previous versions of SQL Server on the same desktop?

  Windows Server 2008R2 isn't a supported option for SQL Server 2016.
