Here is the scenario we have:
1. Installed SQL Server
2. Changes the server IP addresses (to move to a less secure LAN for development)
We found that after we did this we could connect with the new IP address BUT the IP Addresses tab under the TCP/IP Protocol Name for "Protocols for MSSQLSERVER" still has old IP address. Do we have to change this manually? What are the considerations?

Remove the settings from that address and configure IpAll.
You should be fine.

It shouldn't, but it won't do any harm if you're listening on all addresses.
