    Hi,

    There is any advantage of the method described(sending Bacpac to Azure Storage ), over the deploy directly the DB to Azure SQL database with the option in SSMS?

    Based from BOL they state:

    SSMS Wizard :For small to medium databases.

    BACPAC: If you have connectivity challenges ( low bandwidth or timeout issues) and for medium to large databases, use a BACPAC file.

    Thank's for the info.

    unfortunately , the BACPAC have some issues like doesn't "like" triggers/heap tables etc..

    I think Microsoft have in a "beta stage" a new method to Migrate Big tables to Azure.

    The word "premises" indicates a property (land/buildings).

    A "premise" is the basis of an argument or inference.

    Great post. One page and 20 minutes of work to move a database to Azure. Love it.
