Hello,
I forgot that I can only install Enterprise Edition on Windows Server. I have Windows 10 Professional. I tried to install SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition, but I kept having problems. Then I realized my mistake. So when I tried to install the SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition, it said I already had a default instance.
It tried uninstalling everything. But I'm not sure what I should uninstall. What should I do? I'm at a lose for ideas.
Thanks!

Thanks for your help! I'm still struggling.
When I try to uninstall, I'm getting this message:
The operating system on this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for SQL Server 2012. for Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 operating systems, Service Pack 2 or later is required. For Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, Service pack 1 or later is required. For more information, see hardware and Software requirements for installing SQL Server 2012
Ok, I'm assuming I don't have any Failover Clusters to worry about. But I don't know anything about them so I'm not exactly sure.
I stopped all the SQL Server Services.
I don't know what else to do.

I Googled your error message and found this:

Does that work for you, or have you already tried it?
