Central management registered server missing

    I have a central managment servers setup on a SQL 2008 server.

    I open it without a problem in any computer that has SSMS 2008 installed.

    But When I open it in a client SSMS 2012, it has nothing under central managment servers,

    why is that?

    DO I have to create register server again?

    You don't have to create registered server again....

    All you need to do is ....

    Right Click on your old 2008 CMS and click on tasks and export those servers and use that file to import on new 2012 server... then you could see all your servers .....
