All,
We have 2 node cluster in data center A where we configured AlwaysOn. In data center B we have SQL Instance which will be DR for databases of data center A. We are planning to Sync data between these 2 data centers using database mirroring (only ports can be opened in both Data centers, they are running on different domains which cannot run or come under same domain).
Will there be any issue in configuring the Database Mirroring which is already configured as Availability Database? Is there any other better option to sync data between these two data centers?
As we can have multiple replicas, I am sure database Mirroring works but I want to double sure.
Your inputs are highly appreciated.

Any reason why you can't or don't want to set up another AAG replica in Data Center B ?

The reason is Data Center A owned by Company X and Data Center B owned by Company Y, they are on different domains. At the most we can have Ports open between 2 Data Centers as there is no possibility of having accounts under same domain. In this scenario, I think it is not possible to have AAG as all 4 nodes (2 nodes from Data Center A and 2 nodes from Data Center B should be under trusted domain and should have multi site cluster). Please let me know if I am missing anything.

Hi,
Always on availability group will not work in cross domain. The database which is participating in Always on Availability group can not take part in Database mirroring. So please looks for Logshipping in Data Center B as it can work in cross domain.

Hi,Always on availability group will not work in cross domain.
Although it looks like that functionality might be coming with Windows / SQL 2016... So if you can wait a little while, and you're going through a series of environment upgrades, then it's an option...
