Formatting the number in SSRS

    Hello,

    How to set the number from 3296317 to 3,296,317

    After going to text box properties -> clicking on number how can I set the format for the below number to show up on report

    3,296,317

    right now I am getting 3296317

    Use the Format "N0" - you can use this in the format property of the field.

    Can't you just check the 'Use 1000 separator (,)'?

    Yes, you can - this is another way to set the format property. Doing this will set the format property to "N0" (assuming you select 0 decimal places).
