Hey everyone! I have been working with SQL for about 2 years now, mostly beginner level stuff (updates, deletes, slightly complex queries-nothing along the lines of UDFs and only a few stored procedures) however I did get the opportunity to write a script with SQL Recursion in it, that was fun!
I've read the 70-461 tookit from Itzik Ben-Gan/Microsoft Press and passed the certification back in March. I've read TSQL Fundamentals during my certification studying, and am currently re-reading it/doing the exercises again (to give myself a refresher on stuff I don't do every day). I am looking to find a job as an SQL developer in a few months and want to help take my skills up a level, to add to my SSRS and C# development skills. . There are two books I've been looking at, one is Itzik Ben-Gan's High Performance Using Windowing Functions book and the other is his Querying TSQL. What would be a good book to read next? Based on reviews I've read, it seems both are a great read for me, but which do you recommend I read first? Any help is much appreciated!

Probably Querying.
The Window functions book is excellent, but has a very narrow scope and is reasonably advanced.

I loved his book on Windowing functions and would recommend it to anyone. Like Gail pointed out, though, its more advanced.
