SSRS header, export to Excel is there any solution for hidden/merged columns problem

  • Hi,

While in 2008 I learned how to adjust all my headers textbox, images so it won't break excel once downloaded, so I made precise location/size for each of them relatively to tablix columns.

Just curious is there any simpler way to do it in 2012 where I'm now. I was thinking to put all my textboxes into some container that will be downloaded as single row in Excel...

I tried to use rectangle/etc/ header and without but it all come to separate cell once in Excel...

    Is that possible?

    Thanks

    mario

  • There aren't exactly any changes between 2008 and 2012 regarding how SSRS works internally for rendering reports.

So if it didn't work in 2008, it won't work unfortunately in 2012.
