excel source loading string and internger mix data.

    HELLO ,

    I am loading data from excel,

    Excel column name is speccode in that some data are like

    In databse column datatype is VArchar(20).

    It threowing error like potential data loss in excel source how to solve this error?

    Easiest solution: import from CSV instead.

    I cant. file coming form client is excel file.

    Try doing a Google search for SSIS IMEX=1.

    It should fix your problem if you add IMEX=1 to your Excel connection extended properties.
