Hi,
We are using standard edition.
When I execute a job manually and try to see the job running status from job activity monitor, I can't see anything.
Can we see the running jobs from job activity monitor in standard edition or not?

Yes. I did it in SQL 2008 SE this afternoon. I'm not sure where to go with this, so here's a couple ideas:
Are you running the job itself?
When you look at the activity monitor, did you refresh it?
Is the job still running by the time you refresh the job activity monitor?
Does the execution show in the job history?

Hi,
I do not think the feature is edition dependent. So you should fiind it. Go through the below MSDN link for more details.
Now there is always a possibility that the job runs a very short period of time and thats the reason you can't see the job status/progress in monitor!
Did you check the job history?

Thanks.

When you look at the activity monitor, did you click the refresh button to refresh the list?
