I have logshipping configured b/w Primary and DR site, Tlogs interval is every 15 minutes. Now I would like to setup another secondary for reporting purpose but I would like to restore Tlogs with a frequency of 20hrs(its long).
Is it possible?
will this break backup chain that affects DR?
what will be the size of Tlog that will be taken every 20 hours assume 10MB for 15 minutes . I assume it should have all the changes from last restore to reporting server is this correct.
we are fine to kill the sessions while applying Tlog nightly . please let me know your opinion.
DB size is 1TB we use Redgate backup compressed size is 200GB and Tlogs are few MB's.

This frequency will apply to any secondaries setup against this primary.

Modify this secondarys schedule to restore any log backups every 20 hours.

thanks for your prompt response. So we can run multiple secondary's with different interval I guess LS uses LSN number to determine which it is applying. am I right?
My only question due to this will primary DB log grows enormously until Tlog for secondary not taken.
we don't want to use replication its vendor DB they don't support. Any other solutions we are on SQL2008R2

A log shipping plan has 1 log backup job running on the primary instance for each primary database.
For each secondary there is a copy job and restore job which run on the secondary instance
