Hi All,
Here is the server CPU configurations with one SQL server instance running on this server.
Sockets: 2
Cores: 16
Logical Processors: 32
Current CPU settings on SQL Instance:
'Automatically set processor affinity mask for all processors' - UNCHECKED
'Automatically set I/O affinity mask for all processors' - CHECKED (Node0 - 15 CPUs checked, Node1 - 15 CPUs checked)
On Idera is showing as 15 of 32 CPUs are used.
Could you provide any suggestions on this.
Should I check this option - 'Automatically set processor affinity mask for all processors'
* SQL Server 2014 Enterprise
* Windows Server 2012 R2
Thanks!

Personally, I'd set both to automatic and let SQL Server manage them both.
