SP_xml_preparedocument is not available in SQL 2008 R2

    Hi There

    SP_xml_preparedocument is not available in SQL 2008 R2, is there other procedure i can use or is there a replacement of sp_XML_Preparedocument

    Are you sure it's not available? Perhaps your server has a case-sensitive collation - I notice you spelled the name with a capital SP? Or maybe you just didn't qualify it with the sys schema? If you're browsing for it in SSMS, you need to look under Extended Stored Procedures, not Stored Procedures.
