Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I can make use of virtual labs to practice some things.
I have tried Microsoft virtual labs and I cant even find sql server on there. Also no installation files.
Can anyone please advise on how to use the virtual labs or maybe different practice environments?
Thanks guys

Get a copy of developer edition ( not that expensive) and install it on your PC / Laptop and practice there. Or use something like virtualbox.

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/virtuallabs
The above URL list numerous virtual labs. The purpose of these virtual labs is not just for you to have a play environment, they are focused on specific features or components in SQL Server.
If you are looking for a play environment, and do not want to bother with buying software to have to run locally, go sign up for an Azure account. You will get a $200 credit right off and can build out a SQL Server 2012, 2014, and even CTP2 of 2016 within about 30 minutes or so. As long as you do not leave the server running when you are not using/playing on it the $$$ will be very low. The servers you build using the images provided by Microsoft are not the cheapest of servers, that is why you should remember to turn them off, however I have heard you can schedule them to be turned off at a certain time if you forget (but never tried this).
There is also Amazon EC2 but I stopped trying this service after I saw their interface.

Hi BLOB,
I don,t want to just play around with code or creating maintenance tasks, I want to set up Availability groups and mirroring and so on.
I have been on the technet virtual labs but I can't seem to get SQL running, it's not installed or I am just being really dumb.
