Hi All,
We are planning to migrate our SQL Server 2008 R2 instance which is on below verion, to SQL Server 2012 enterprise edition. SQL server 2008 R2 instance is shared environment which host many databases with different applications.
We are also migrating to the new box with latest windows server.
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1) - 10.50.2500.0 (X64) Jun 17 2011 00:54:03 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.0 <X64> (Build 6002: Service Pack 2)
I want to know what changes from database side and from SA team needs to be done so that all the applications can connect to new instance on new box at cut over date.
Thank You !!!
Regards,
Akshay.
