my primary server name like this: ITI-PDP-DB\chandu
i am given the primary server network path like:\\ITI-PDP-DB\chandu\Logshipping_backup

Are you reffering named instance like this "ITI-PDP-DB\chandu"
first try the network path in windows , if it is not working check and fix it.
can provide more details like server1 and server2 with masked info and what are you trying with that.

make sure your SQL service account has the rights to access network path.

basically from your secondary server you should be able to access backup folder, try to login to your secondary server with SQL Service account user name and password and then try to access backup folder
Start -> Run -> \\servername\foldername
if you are not able to access this folder than you have not given enough permission to this account.

It is the SQL Server agent service account that requires access to the share. Also, ensure you check both Share and NTFS permissions and set them appropriately
