Hi,
I am wondering what's the best practice or consequences leaving ' show advanced options' to '1'?

Technically it should be left at 0, as that's more secure.

Also from "Cheers", from "Carla": "You need to know 3 things about Tortelli men: Tortelli men draw women like flies; Tortelli men treat women like flies; Tortelli men's brains are in their flies".

In the following link you can see which are the advanced options.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189631.aspx
The advice is that these are best left to the experts!
(Important : Advanced options should be changed only by an experienced database administrator or certified SQL Server technician.)
So use your own judgement on what you might want to change in these options. I know that I'm happy to have them hidden for now.
