COM class error

    Hi,

    In a page, I written a code to generate Excel file using Com+ Component. On server, when my source code try to access those Com+ component, error comes:

    Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005

    any help on this appreciated

    I don't see how this belongs to a SQL Server forum...

    However, 80070005 means "access denied".

    I wrote an article about DCOM permissions for a totally different thing (Linked Servers), but should put you in the right direction for troubleshooting.
