export a report to Excel: replace "." in amount by ","

  Hi all,

  Since I work on a platform sql Server in English, the amounts are extracted on "." for a decimal.

  reports will be exported to excel French who do not recognize the "." as a decimal separator

  Is there a solution to replace the "." to ","?

  In SSRS the report language set to fr-FR then the format 0.00 for the value 12.34 shows as 12,34

  Seems that SSRS uses the localised version of the decimal point for France.

  Did an export to CSV and this transferred the comma formatting. I have not got this to show in Excel as Excel keeps changing to en-GB.
