I'm having trouble accessing TFS using the 2012 SQL Server Data Tools. What's odd is that in Visual Studio 2012 under the Source Control Options, TFS is listed, but in SSDT in the same location there is only a None option. SSDT is basically a shell of VS 2012. I don't get it! Anyone successfully use TFS with SSDT for 2012?

If you go to Tools menu choice then Options, you should see a Source Control on the Tree View on left.
On Plug-in Selection you should be able to choice TFS, it not then the TFS connection might have been installed before you setup SSDT. Your software keeper should be able to give you the plug-in needed to activate that.

You likely need to download and install Team Explorer for Visual Studio 2012 - this is the plugin that Thomas LeBlanc was talking about. Here's the download page:

I know this thread is "dead," but ...
Update for those who stumble across this thread like I just did, if you have a 64-bit box, follow the instructions here or you'll get an architecture mismatch error.
