Distribution clean up: distribution Blocking: Please help

    Hi all ,

    Distribution cleaning job is creating blocking from Monday to Friday only in evening it starts at 7:30 pm at stays there until I stop the job. This doesn't occurs on Saturday or Sunday. Yesterday job was running for 41 min and I had to stop the job and after that everything was fine.My distribution database is not growing and in day time job run just fine.

    Can I stop the job between that time period , will there be any impact if I stop the job for 1 hour ?

    Can any one help me with this how can prevent this from not happening.

    The blocking is by replication design. If the database is not growing, you can unschedule the job for that period. It should not cause any issues.

    Thank you for reply I will try to change the job schedule and will update.
