SSRS 2014 Performance issues

  • We have installed recently SSRS 2014 (SQL 2014 RTM) and deployed the reports into the server and all users being accessed. We have done memory configuration in config file and Hardware also High configuration (RAM 512 GB), But we are getting below performance issues

    1) When restart the SSRS server/recycle, for the first time report generation is taking time 12 sec.

from 2nd time report is getting generated in 4 or 5 sec (it is ok but our users proffered report generated in 1 or 2 sec)

Why the first time report taking some time after restart the service ? can we get the report in 1 or 2 sec ?

    2) When we are trying to generate the SSRS report from .net Application its taking 12 sec and at first for few seconds blank pages is appearing after that data is loading into report. (from SSRS URL its taking only 5 sec)

Why the blank page is appearing when report accessing from .Net App ?

any suggestions for these two issues would be Appreciated.

Have you migrated databases from an earlier version of SQL Server?
