Does anyone have definitive dates as to when the last day you can book the MCM 2012 lab and Exam are? I know they got a 90 day extension, but when is that from?

To be honest, if you're planning to write it I'd say don't bother. You're looking at $3000, assuming passing both the first time (which many people don't), 3 months is way short for studying for the lab exam and that's all for a cert who's name will probably be meaningless in a year or so as no one will remember or care what it means.

I dont think it will be worthless. Its no longer attainable as its not available, the standard required to obtain it still exists, anyone who got it, reached that standard and is a certain level of expert.
Also, theres no renewal ( well, it cant be renewed anymore) as its a perpetual certificate so theres value there.
Sure, its 3k, but i personally think its worth that cost at least.

There's minimal awareness of the MCSM in industry as it is (which is what you'll get if you pass the 2012 exams, not the older MCM), that awareness is not going to go up after December (and I suspect it's going to end up in the 'retired' section of the MCP transcript, not the active certifications)
