Explain this and why it matters. Or doesn't matter.

To be clear, I don't want a reference. I want an article on SSC.
However, feel free to use the reference given, and give credit, in an article you write. Whoever wants to do it.

Steve,
I can take this one. Especially since I've been burned by it.

If it helps get this done faster, I'm eager to read the article already. I didn't know what this could have meant, but reading the blog at the link provided was very informative.

Tom,
I was going to mention the bug and link to the connect item. I also need to mention that RedGate Sql Data Compare doesn't re-enable FK's with CHECK when by default. I've made a request that they change that default as well.

Is there any indication whether their "will not fix" applies just to 2011 or does it cover 2014 too, so that we can expect to see no fixed release for another 3 or 4 years?

FYI, the bug is still there in 2014 CTP1. I just ran Paul's example from the Connect Item. Same results.

Sometime in the next month. You can ping Jack (PM) and see if he's done anything. I hadn't heard in awhile, so was bumping and cleaning forums.
