So, some time in the recent past, everyone in the office has become unable to access the drop-down menus for any report. Since we don't use that functionality often, no one is certain when it actually occurred. We are thinking it is either a browser compatibility problem (neither IE9 nor FF12 will show the menu when I click on the arrow at the end of the report name), or something related to a server or SSRS patch.
Has anyone encountered this, and can point me to a solution?
Thanks

What drop-down menu are you referring to? Is it for parameters? Can you post a screen shot?

There should be a drop-down menu when you click the arrow at the end of the rectangle containing the word 'Faculty'. Or any of the items, really.

Okay, that is to manage the reports. It looks to me like someone modified the permissions on the report server. I'd talk to whoever is in charge of administering the report server?

No one has changed permissions to the reporting server, and we have administrator level rights at the root level. Ironically, the security assignments are one of the options inside that menu. So I cannot see them to prove that they haven't changed.
However, our server admins (who should also have administrator level rights) have the same lack of drop-down menu that we developers are experiencing.

If you are an administrator can you get to site settings in the upper right of the Report Manager home page?
What happens if you run IE as an administrator?
The only way I can come close to duplicating this is to disable scripting in my browser (IE10) so I'd check those settings.

I selected the security 'tab' in the Site Settings, and my ADS group is shown as Administrator.

Jay,
I just saw this behavior this morning when I was doing some remote training for a client. The client was running IE 10 and SSRS 2008 R2, not sure what level it is patched to though. The fix we tried was to run IE in compatibility mode.
