Hi,
Am looking to implement Resource Governor functionality, and would like to know the links or any useful details which can help me in proceeding further along with sample code.

Since you're just starting out, SQL Server Books Online would be a great place for you to start. Post back with more specific questions after you have acquainted yourself with the features or want to share more specific details about what you are trying to learn.

Hi,
Well, I had gone through SQL BOL. It's informative, and the reason for posting this query is - am from Data Modelling background and currently been projected as Sr DBA to the client. And in the last meeting the guys were discussing about Resource Governor, and are expecting something from me. So, thought of gaining some knowledge asap (which is wrong), and prepare an approach document and submit to client. By doing so, I can buy some time and dig deep into the requirement and work out with a proper solution.

THeres also a very good White paper on the resource governor which can be found here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee151608(v=sql.100).aspx
If you've read BoL then I would suggest reading this next as it goes into a lot more detail.
Edit : I've just seen that you are being touted by your company as a Sr. DBA, this really is wrong of the company, not least because its misrepresentation, and not good for you especially if you are in a room with someone from the client side who knows more than you do as i've been put in that awkward position before.

Hi,
Thanks for the concern, but as of now I don't have any option. The lucky part of mine is - client is not at my place and hence am able to do some work around with the things. Sure, will go through the link, and will try to publish my understanding in a short duration.

No problem, I empathise with how you must feel.
I was playing around with the resource guvenour about a year ago, hes my post on what I'd done with a few helpful responses from Gazreth here on SCC
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1367458-1550-1.aspx
It might help as a starting point.
