Not able to connect Integration Services in my server to local system(Development system) SQL Server Management Studio. I think this can be avoided by ensuring that users have the required DCOM permissions in the server,
Can u please tell me any one wt is the exact problem And why we cant connect to the integration server
And once we connect to the integration server the packeges should be created but the tabs will not be opend that mence the Control flow and the Data flow and Package explorer these tabs could not opend ,it will show the error like
Microsoft visual studio is unable to load this document
TO design integratoion services package in BI Devlopment studio ,Integration services has to be installd by one of these editions of sql server2008R2;standared enteprise developer or evalvation .To install integration services run sql server setup and select integration services,,,,,,this is the bug we are faceing in the creation of package creaion can u please resolve my problem as earliest and give the exact resoluction to this one

Hi,
I remembered a similar experience. You need to be sure that the Integration Services Service (I know it sounds redundant) is installed and enabled in the server. This is the first step. If this is the case you should be able to save the packages in the msdb from the BIDS.
Second issue, you can only connect to the Integration Server from the Management Studio with Windows Authentication.
