Hi,
Does anyone know what might cause an enabled SQL Job with an active schedule not to run? I have a job that is supposed to run every 10 minutes that suddenly stopped. When I view the history, it has a last run time from a couple of hours ago. Other Jobs have more up-to-date last run times, so I don't think the SQL Server Agent itself stopped. If there were an error, I'd expect to see several failed attempts to run, but I don't. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

The schedule also has an enabled flag. The schedule also may have had an end date.
The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival.

Also check what the Job Activity Monitor is showing for Next Run.

Might be a daft question, but is it still running (i.e. last run never finished)?

All,
Thanks so much for the responses. It looks like a few jobs were still executing according to the Job Activity Monitor. One I stopped them, everything was back to normal.
Thanks again,
Mike
