I have created a report using BIDS in SQL Server 2008. I need to be able to control the page break using an expression. Come to find out this is a 2008r2 feature. So we installed BIDS for SQL Server 2008r2 on my computer. upgraded the project when requested. the ability to add the expression was there but when I ran it the message popped up that SQL Server 2008 did not support the disable and removed it from the project.
message: Warning1A PageBreak property was removed from the data region, rectangle, or group ‘grpMonth’. SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services does not support the PageBreak property Disabled.J:\SSRS reports\HR_Work_Calendar\HR_Work_Calendar\CalendarView.rdl00
versions used: BIDS (Visual Studio 2008 version 9.03.30729.4462 QFE
DB 10.50.1617.0 which should be 2008r2 correct?
any idea why I can not utilize this feature?
Sorry if this is addressed in another spot- I did look quick unfortunately time is not on my hands for this one. Thank you in advance.
