Hi,
I need to see inside a SSIS 2012 project a new SSIS installed component, but in the SSDT 2010 I cannot see the SSIS Data Flow Items tab for adding data source/data destination respect to the choose toolbox items pane.
Any suggests to me, please?
Thanks

Did you try to expand the Favorites (first on the list in the toolbox)?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
You are saying that in SSDT 2010 it is right that I cannot see the SSIS Data Flow Items tab when I select the voice Tool --> Choose Toolbox Items... and open the Choose Toolbox Items pane, isn't it?
To add a data source allowed after a SSIS custom component installation I need to use the Source Assistant in the Favorites tab of the SSIS Toolbox, isn't it? For SSIS 2008 R2 I don't remember a such step to accomplish.
However, I've installed the SSIS Connectors for Oracle vers 2.0 (for SSIS 2012) by Attunity and then if I use the Source Assistant in the Favorites tab, Oracle is showed as a source type. Is it correct? The next step to do?
Thanks

I am facing a virtually identical scenario and I can't find a definitive solution on google.
My development environment is a new build and I'm installing everything from scratch. I have installed:
SQL Server 2012 version 11.0.3000 including Visual Studio 2010 (Shell) - SQL Server Data Tools for 2012 (x64)
and Attunity Oracle Adapters (x64)
The Attunity components do not appear in the in the SSIS toolbox list. I would have expected to enable these new components by activating them in the "SSIS Data Flow Items" tab in the "Tools --> Choose Toolbox Items..." option from the menu bar. However neither the "SSIS Data Flow Items" tab nor the "SSIS Control Flow Items" tab are present.
How do I force these tabs to be displayed?
Alternatively, how do I get access the the new attunity components in SSIS?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm also having this problem.
Trying to include the CodePlex adapter for SharePointList.
But no tab for SSIS is showing.

Please note that from SQL Server 2012, it will automatically detect new custom components, and add them to the toolbox. If SSDT is already open when you install the adapter, right click on the Toolbox and select the Refresh option.
