Is it pOssible to take the Full backup in Logshipping without Copy only backup

    Hi All,

    I have configured the log shipping. Is it possible to take the full backup (Not Copy only backup) after configure the log shipping. as per my understand it will break the LSN then log shipping will not work.

    Yes of course you may, in fact you really want a regular full backup to provide a basis for recent restore points.

    No, not true. What it does do is to increment the differential base LSN and reset the diffferential backup bit on each database page. All existing differential backups are then null and void when compared to the new full backup.
