Hi Friends,
Is there a possibility to create Aggregations after the Cube has been deployed. I recollect that I have read something along these lines but can't recollect it in entirety.
Googling didn't helped either. :hehe:

You create the aggregations and redeploy the cube?

Hi Koen,
Yes I can do that. What I really wanted to know was, "Is there a way creating Aggregations outside BIDS" ?
Perhaps NO.

You can design aggregations with XMLA, but I believe the designer will be more straight forward.

BIDS Helper has a nice add-on utility "Aggregation Manager", but that is technically still BIDS.
SSMS has an "assign aggregation design" feature that assigns existing designs to other partitions.

Once you do complete these actions, I think a ProcessIndex will save you some processing time. To my knowledge you would not need to fully reprocess the cube afterwards.
