Hello -
I have both 2008 R2 and 2012 SSRS installed on the same PC. The 2008 R2 install is Standard Edition and the 2012 install is the Developer Edition using a named instance. I was able to go into the Configuration Manager for RS in both versions, and had them both working off of port 80 (which I didn't think would work, but after trying to change one of the installs to an open/listening port...TCP 135, it would not work, so they both were left on port 80).
Now - 2008 R2's Configuration Manager for RS will not connect to the instance. Using the computer name (Default instance) it gives an error of 'No Report Servers Were Found. I've tried everything from the machine name to local, (localhost), and '.'
I've once again attempted to change the port for the 2012 configuration, but it stops working when I do that, and the 2008 R2 Configuration Manager for RS still does not work. Weird thing is that my user is able to get to the Report Manager via his web browser and run reports in both versions (Using Internet Explorer 9).
This is a x64 install of Windows 7 Professional, non server class PC. The developer did not attempt any reboot's after configuration changes of the ports, but switching back had things working again (except for the configuration manager in 2008 R2).
Any insight would be most helpful and much appreciated.

It looks as though the encryption of the database somehow became corrupted in the 2008 R2 install. Luckily we made backups of the Master Key before the user really got started, so we restored it from there, and are back up and going again.
