  Hi all,

  Please let me know the best practice of Linkserver while setting up the Update transaction Replication, There are some known errors of remote user mapping etc and I found it is not recommended (by users on different blogs) to create link server by GUI

  But I'm not able to find something from Microsoft

  Please recommend and share your thoughts

  you can firstly create the DBLink using GUI, and then generate the script.

  then you can some interesting parameters.

  BTW, why you use DBLink when configuring updated transnational replication
