I am working on windows server 2008(32bit)enterprise edition of OS and have installed sql 2008 enterprise and sql 2012 enterprise(32 bit) side by side. Now I want to upgrade my sql 2008 instance to Sql 2012.
I did apply sp2 for sql2008 before starting upgrading to sql 2012.
I went to Installation media center of Sql 2012 and tried through wizard to upgrade but it gives message as follows
You can not upgrade to this release and no features are available to upgrade.
What is wrong here.

This site states that you need SP3 installed if you are using SQL2008 (not R2, which needs SP2)
