like to install the failover cluster in pc

    HI, all

    like to install the fail-over cluster in pc but there is no cluster group and MSDTC Group is not available in my PC when i tried to install fail-over cluster setup it is giving errors what should i do ? to successfully install in PC [not in server ]

    You need to create virtual machines and set up a cluster from there. See my guide at these links

    FYI : I have created a SQL Cluster as per those 3 articles. The PC I used only had 8GB on it and it really struggled when all of the virtual machine were running. I ended up with a cluster that would fail over quite often simply because it is not realistic to attempt to run the Windows host OS, VMWare 2.0, the Unix OS (virtual machine that present SCSI disks to the cluster), a Windows domain controller and the 2 SQL Server machines. This is a lot to attempt to do with just 8GB. As an excercise, it works well but having more than 8GB would be better.
