Hi All,
I have installed SSIS to an existing stand alone SQL Server instance(Named) using installation wizard.
After reboot of the server, I tried to start the SSIS service through SQL Server Configuration Manager and Services.msc.
But I am unable to start the service through both modes and received the below error.
//
"Could not start the SQL Server Integration Services service on the Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
//
Host Server : Windows Server 2003 R2, Enterprise Edition 64 Bit
SQL Server : 2005, Standard Edition, SP3, 64 Bit
Kindly let me know your views to fix the issue asap.
Thanks in advance

We had the same issue with SSIS and SSRS after applying MS12-070. The following article helped us to resolve it. A reboot is required. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mariae/archive/2012/11/12/reporting-services-service-doesn-t-start-after-the-installation-of-ms12-070-security-patch.aspx
Good luck.
