This is only my opinion but most of the time I read these emails on a phone and the preamble of it being from SQLServerCentral.com and a forum post notification is so long that I can no longer see for which topic it is for unless I open up the email.
The way it was I could open up one forum post notification email, click the link held within then catchup before deleting all relevant emails and moving on to the next topic.
Now I have to open up each email as I have no idea for which topic they are for until then. This process is far more laborious.
I hope that you find this constructive.

+1 from me. This was annoying to me.
I did find out that this is due to a change in the pages themselves to rank better in Google. The SEO people have been trying to tune our ranking as Google's changes last year dramatically affected us (and many other SQL sites).
I have someone looking at how to change the email gen process to get back to easy to read subjects.

Ummmm.... Let's think about this... Why would email subject titles be searchable on Google to begin with? Makes no sense to me.

It's the titles on this page (all forum pages) that affect SEO.
Unfortunately, the email process just uses what's here.

A variation of this suggestion for the body of the email:
Can you change the format of this line:
A new reply has been added by Jeff Moden to a topic you're subscribed to.
To any of these 3 formats:
A new reply has been added by
Jeff Moden
to a topic you're subscribed to.
or
A new reply has been added by Jeff Moden
to a topic you're subscribed to.
or

Thanks!

I can't find a reason to use development time to insert additional line feeds when your mail client shoult format the email correctly.

We've rolled back the titles for now. Someone will be looking at the email process to standardize and separate that from the page title.

the email is sent without the additional line feeds. I suggested them because I think they want to keep the emails in plain text.
