Thanks for reply ...
I have last 5 days backup file....But user side they want current data as on date today...If restored Last day backup today data will not be available? please suggestion me how to aviod this data loss?
December 18, 2012 at 5:35 am
Do you have transaction log backups? Do you know when the corruption happened?
December 18, 2012 at 5:36 am
If you repair, you will lose data.
If you want to avoid data loss, then you need to take a tail-log backup, restore the last clean full backup and all log backups since then.

I came to know database backup failed due to cycle error for reading MDF file...
I thing the only way to Run dbcc repaire_allow_data_loss command, Becuase I do not have Tlog backup also database is SIMPLE recovery mode...
If Ran this command how much data will be loss, per day or any time period?
December 18, 2012 at 6:00 am
I recommend restoring from the last good full backup. Since the DB is in simple recovery model, that amount of data loss (since the last full backup) must be acceptable to the business.

uggh...that's a hard recommendation for me to want to think about.
i think i'd recommend renaming the current database, and restoring the last full backup as the original.
at least then you can compare tables database to database and try to identify any data they might want to keep.
This is more of an accidental issue (poor backup plan, unexpected error) than a knowledgeable decision that the business knows it can sustain a data loss for a whole weeks worth of changes.

I recommend restoring from the last good full backup. Since the DB is in simple recovery model, that amount of data loss (since the last full backup) must be acceptable to the business.uggh...that's a hard recommendation for me to want to think about.
Data will be lost in this scenario.
The options are to restore back to the last full backup and have a database that's transactionally consistent as of a known time, resulting in one day of data loss, or repair and have a database that may be transactionally inconsistent with an unknown amount of data loss. That's pretty much the options that are left at this point

There are 310724 rows in 2785 pages for object "BC_ShiftSummaryInfo".
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 11 consistency errors in table 'BC_ShiftSummaryInfo' (object ID 990626572).
How critical is this table "BC_ShiftSummaryInfo" for you? Can you bring the data back in this table from some old working backup (by restoring that backup as new database and then copy the data from table) and the re-run dbcc checkdb?
