Hello,
I created a report environment for my company. Installed and configured SSRS. I built my initial reports in Visual Studio, but made tons of modifications in Report Server. I have created several backups of my report server and temp databases.
My question....
How can I grab the .rdf and .rdl files that have been altered through report server? Can I import these files into VSS?
Any help would be appreciated.

You can simply download the files from the server using either Report Manager or SharePoint (whatever your integrations is).

Cool thanks.
So, I would just import the .rdl file into VSS? No .rdf necessary?
Thanks so much for your response.

You can add the .rdl files as existing items in your VS solution.
What's those .rdf files you keep talking about? Never heard about them and the only hit Google gives me is your own question.
