I have setup DB Mail in our other production SQL Servers and it all works fine. Yesterday I built two new SQL Servers (SQL2008R2 SP1/2) and the test email works just fine. However, when I have a job in SQL Agent sent an email upon success of a job (to the same email address that worked in the test email) it won't send it. It isn't in the queue, it doesn't fail to send it... it just never does anything. I tried recreating all of the SQL Mail stuff and no improvement. I have done lots of searches on this topic, in general, and cannot figure anything out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Markus,
Does SQL Agent have the Mail profile enabled & the correct profile selected (Alert System page)?
Think you need to restart SQL Agent service for any changes to take too.
Cheers

OMG..... In my haste to get these all setup I overlooked the enable the SQL Agent mail profile. I knew it had to be something simple... jeesh... Thanks a million as I have been working on this for a couple of hours.
