Hi There,
I don't really understand what it is that you are trying to do. Is it the backups which are failing, if so what are the errors or is your master database which is corrupt?

What error is the backup failing with?
Why do you think you need to rebuild master?

If you have lost the database or it's been corrupted and you don't have a backup available, you'll have to rebuild the database. Microsoft has documentation on how to do that.

There are no direct relation between master backup failed and rebuild master.
Have you checked why master backup is failing? Rebuilding the master is not a solution.
